DJ shares his unbelievable football journey from a teacher by chance seeing him play on the grade school play yard, during recess, to winning 4 State Football Championships at Kimberly, being recruited to North Dakota State University, then all the way back to the Fox Valley. Find out who had the most influence on him and how college life is for a young athlete and what the future holds...maybe more football?

Live at Sports Discover Night at the Champion Center

Joe and Tosh attended Discovery Night at the Community First Champion Center, Tuesday September 26th, where they got to walk around and interview several awesome people who were representing their sports in the Fox Valley and trying to bring awareness and recruit athletes! The guys discover and learn that there are a lot of different sports in our area and so many options for youth and adults.

If you're good, you're not noticed and that's always the goal.  Being an official is a thankless passion, but a passion for sure.  Tosh and Joe take a deep dive into the who, what, why of being an official, as we have a conversation with officials: Jon Doden, Steve Liddell and Chad Roethlisberger. 
We continue to have fun with An Old Look at New and It's Forgotten and I'm Never Forgetten. The episode finishes off with a throwback to Jerry Markbreit, a legendary NFL Referee, who was the main speaker at the Red Smith Banquet in 1990.

Game On! FVL Coach Seth Jaeger talks Football, w/ LeRoy Butler Throwback

We sit down with Fox Valley Lutheran Head Football Coach Seth Jaeger and discuss his journey from youth sports, to high school, to college at Martin Luther College, to teaching and coaching. We delve into some of the beliefs and values he holds as a coach, while taking a look at the FVL's most anticipated game of the year, The Apple Bowl, where they face their long rivals Xavier for the annual Apple Bowl Title Champion!
