Joe and Tosh attended Discovery Night at the Community First Champion Center, Tuesday September 26th, where they got to walk around and interview several awesome people who were representing their sports in the Fox Valley and trying to bring awareness and recruit athletes! The guys discover and learn that there are a lot of different sports in our area and so many options for youth and adults.

This week we spent some time at Tight Lines Fly Shop to talk with Tim Landwehr about fly fishing and the great outdoors.
We first sit down with Ryan Marx and discuss the Appleton East Korey Fischer Outdoor Club. Ryan leads us through the amazing opportunities that high school students have getting equipment so they can experience the outdoors hunting and fishing.
Tim Landwehr talks about his start in fly fishing growing up in Wisconsin. Packing up his life and leaving for the big sky country of Montana. Meeting his wife and heading back to open a Fly Shop in De Pere which celebrated its 22 anniversary. We also get to hear about his involvement with saving the Menomonie River with the amazing group the Menomonie Coalition.
We end the episode with a throwback to Goose Gossage one of the first true closers in baseball. Goose appeared at the 2013 Red Smith Sports Award Banquet in Appleton Wisconsin.
